Time to get tutu it

I think it's time for me to make tutus again.  It's getting to be picture taking season again and that means cute outfits for little girls.  I've already got some ideas for cute ones and bows to match.  I think this year I'm going to step it up a notch or two. Not just tutus and bows; but more tiaras, fairy wings, and cute costumes.  Maybe even venture into jewelry.   I'm thinking of also getting my mom to bake cakes again.  We need some extra hype and fun around the house again.  It was fun working with her on cakes and things.

Time to go On-line

The past couple weeks have been weeks of disappointment for Puddin' and Pie.  We've had a couple of craft shows and neither one have been successful.  Next weekend I will be taking Puddin' and Pie a step further and going to a large craft show in Cy-Fair.  Hopefully, that will generate sales.  I've decided I need to go on-line though.  I'm going to start selling my tutus here.  All of my tutus are hand-made with at least 25-75 yards of tulle.  Most are a size 6-6X; but I can make any size you'd like. Every tutu is creatively named and I can make any colors you request.  Pictures will come soon. :)

Newborn-6mos:  $15
6mos-18mos:  $20
2T-6X:  $25
7-10: $30
12-18:  $35
*Adult Sizes will be special order only and will range from $40+

I made my first toddler tutu.  It is soooo cute.  It's pastel purple and green and very pretty.  I've got the wings shaped for it and will have them finished probably by tomorrow.  I also want to get a little barrette finished for it as well.  Tomorrow, I'm going to work on the rest of this tutu set and hopefully get started on a Tinkerbell set as well.

My mom is planning on having like a mini craft show mid-October and wants me to sell some of my stuff.  She thinks I should make about 10-15.  I have plans for a couple Tinkerbell, pumpkin, witch, angel, maybe a Christmas one, and a bunch others.  I'll probably do a lot of the toddler ones as they are easy and use the least tulle.  I just need more pictures and a 2yr old model now because the pictures of Olivia came out perfectly.  The best way to sell the stuff is to show it "in action" I think.

Up and Running

Ok, so my mom and I have had this plan to start a business for quite some time.  She bakes GORGEOUS cakes for mostly birthday parties and I help out some.  I am starting to venture into little girls' things like tutus and fairy wings.  I made a tutu and there will be more to come.  I'm going to do this whole little boutique thing.  I need to do this so that I can make some extra cash on the side.  I will also start to do custom orders for tutus and stuff.  I'm hoping that with a little help and my mom's cakes, this can turn into something that will make life a little easier financially.  It's a lofty dream, I know but I can dream, right?
